Tonight I made my way down to the beach to photograph an adorable couple! I just love shooting in the evening at the beach. The golden light is just so beautiful and tonight was no exception. The weather was perfect, not too hot, not too windy, just right! This sweet couple is expecting a little one soon and I was so happy to photograph her pregnant little belly. They have managed to do something only those with lots of patience are able to do, (i.e. NOT ME) wait until delivery to find out the sex. Grandma thinks its a boy, Dad just knows its a girl, and cutie pie mom isn’t sure. As long as she/he’s healthy, they’ll be happy!
They were both so easy and natural to be around and to photograph, it was very refreshing. Towards the end, while they walked ahead (laughing and all being cute) Grandma-to-be and I hung back and she said to me, “They are lovely just as much on the inside as they are on the outside. I feel so blessed.” After spending the evening with them, I can see why she is so proud.
