They’re all grown up!

Well, maybe not all grown up but a lot bigger than they were last year!  My cousin’s father passed away recently so Jeff and I traveled to Atlanta so we could be there for him and for the funeral.  My cousin, Chris, and I were practically raised as brother and sister, so it meant a lot to me to be able to be there for him.  It was also nice to get to see some of my family members that I hadn’t seen in a long time.  Not much has changed, everyone looks the same,{except me ofcourse} but it was nice all the same!

Spending time in Atlanta also allowed me to go and shoot two of my favorite families!  It’s been almost a year since I’d seen either of them and it was such a treat to photograph them again!  All of their little girls have changed SO very much!  It really reminded me of just how quickly time passes by and how important it is to photograph children as often as possible.  They’ll be grown before you know it and you don’t want to miss a single moment!  Thank you for allowing me to once again photograph your children, I am blessed!

There is more to come of these beauties, but just a few sneak peeks for now!  Enjoy!

Be Blessed.

A Blessing

Today I had the pleasure of doing a maternity session that was truly a blessing.  I photographed a couple that was absolutely prescious!  Their story was just as sweet as they were! They were real troopers who did anything that I asked them to do and they were a lot of fun!  Even their furbaby “Maggie” was a photographer’s dream, she sat still like a good girl!  They are expecting both a little boy AND a little girl in a couple of weeks and I can’t wait to photograph their children!  What a wonderful blessing twins are!  They are going to have so much fun raising two little ones at once! :)

Congratulations H & J!  I can’t wait to meet your children!

Be Blessed.

Keeping my promise…

…to update more regularly! :)

I’m happy to report that I am almost done with all of my holiday sessions! YAY!  I added two more next weekend but after that, I am DONE!  I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.  The pre-Christmas sessions are always so much fun and I LOVE the idea of people giving photographs of a loved one to someone for Christmas!  What better gift is there?!?  It makes me feel like other people value photographs as much as I do and that is a wonderful thing.  It gives my life’s work a purpose.  I’d like to think that the photographs that I am taking today are going to hang on walls and bring happiness for many years to come.

So today I had a session with three scrumptious children!  They were so sweet and full of life!  The oldest was so sweet and well behaved, she was a photographer’s dream!  The little boy warmed my heart at first sight and made me excited about my own little boy that will soon be entering the world!  He was so energetic and willing to help me, I loved it!  He was also all about making the silly faces, which means he likes to have fun!  The littlest one was so prescious I could have just eaten her up!  She had a sly smile and these big blue eyes that were so beautiful!  I had a lot of fun with these kids and I’m excited for their grandmother to receive some of these photographs come Christmas morning!

Be Blessed.

Catching up!

So my FTP is finally up and working again, woohoo! So any of my fellow photog friends who are having problems with your FTP, there’s hope! :) A lot has been going on around here! I’ve been super busy but all my sessions have been for Christmas and no one wants people seeing them early! So, they couldn’t go on the blog! However, I do have lots of pictures to share!

Jeff and I recently traveled back to the NJ to visit our new baby nephew! It was so nice to see everyone again! It had been almost a full year since we’d been there but it seemed as though we had just left, You know that you have good friends and family when you can pick up right where you left off and it seem like no time had gone by! We were super busy while we were there but we got to see almost everyone that we wanted to see! We especially enjoyed having Sunday dinner with Jeff’s whole family, including his aunt’s and grandparents.

Below is a picture of Jeff’s grandparents who’ve been married for 65 years and are stil in love! I love hearing her tell stories of their life together! Next to them is a picture of Jeff’s mom and dad! It’s usually hard to get people to pose for pictures but everyone was up for it that day!

We also had a chance to catch up with some dear friends of ours, Kevin and Kristen, and their daughter Gabi!  Gabi was about six months old when we moved but she was my little model.  Anytime I wanted to try something new with my photography, Gabi was who I tried it on! lol!  It has been awhile since we’ve seen them and now she is two!  It was so great seeing how smart and charming she has become!  She was as adorable as can be and was a lot of fun to photograph!

Baby Gabi…

Grown up Gabi…

We also had a chance to catch up with our friends Steve and Stephanie!  We’ve known these two the whole time that they have been dating and were so excited when they got engaged!  Woohoo!  So, of course I had to do some engagement pictures with them while we were there!  They are so cute together and I cannot wait for their wedding day.  I know it is going to be so sweet and fun at the same time!  We are excited!

The happy couple…

And last but not least, some very exciting personal news!  Before we left for NJ, I begged my doctor to do an ultrasound so that I would have some pictures of the baby to show everyone.  Being the AWESOME doctor that she is, she snuck me in to get a sneak peek of my little one.  Sure enough, my little one showed us the goods and we found out that we are having a baby BOY!!  We weren’t supposed to find out for a few more weeks but he was in the perfect position!  So here are some pictures if Jackson Edaward Tyndall!  Enjoy!
