Merry Christmas.

So sorry to have not updated in forever and a day, just been SO busy lately. Jeff and I are heading out tomorrow to go visit friends and family in freezing cold New Jersey. I’m excited about going, just not excited about the 13 or more hour drive. Yikes! (and with our two doggies in the car!) It should be interesting, but I know once we get there we will have fun.

This Christmas Season has been a wonderful one. I feel as though I have stretched myself as a photographer and as a business woman. I’ve learned a lot and loved much! I feel so honored and blessed to have been able to capture the lives of so many families. Thank you so much for everyone that allowed me to do so. I pray that everyone has a very safe, warm, and Merry Christmas.

I’ll leave you with my favorite photo from this Christmas season. This is E, she has such a grace about her and I love how delicate and innocent she is in this picture.

P.S. My cousin is, as I type, receiving a double lung transplant that he (and all of us) have been waiting on for some time. It is a very serious situation and he is going to need a lot of prayers and well wishes to get him through. So, if you are the praying kind, I’d be so grateful if you’d send up and extra prayer for my cousin Matt.

Merry Christmas.

Smellin’ Good…

Well it is the day before Thanksgiving and I am editing, editing, editing! However, I am also being tortured because my mom is in the kitchen baking up a storm. I am enamored with the smells of cakes, pies, and cookies! YUM! None of which can be sampled today, my mom is totally traditional and NOTHING is allowed to be tasted until Thankgiving Day! (I’ll still sneak a taste though!)

I’ve been crazy busy lately with sessions here in the ATL. Lots of great families and I’m excited to show them all the work! Here are a few sneak peeks of the children! Enjoy and give thanks for all the good things in your life. I certainly have a lot to be thankful for, as I’m sure we all do.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Charleston’s Newest Celebrity!

Sorry that I haven’t updated in awhile, my in-laws were here all last week and we were busy busy busy!

However, this week kicked off with a bang! I was asked to do new Headshots for Charleston’s Newest Celebrity, Terry Haas, a TV personality on the HGTV hit show, “Design To Sell.” Terry is every bit as lovely in person as she is on TV! Later this week I am traveling to Atlanta to do some photo shoots before spending Thanksgiving with my family! (Yay!)

Public Service Announcement (especially to wives!)

I never post two days in a row but this is a serious enough matter that it needs to be done. Tonight I was almost killed. Yup, that’s right. Against my better judgement, I allowed my husband to talk me into a death wish. He talked me into riding this…

**please note the scream of fright in the video**

That is sheer TERROR! I’m an adrenaline junkie and I love a good ride as much as the next person but NO! Under no circumstances allow your husbands to talk you into this. They will smile their smile and charm their way into that part of your brain that has common sense and they will talk you into it. But let me tell you, about 1/2 sec into the ride, you’ll be sorry you didn’t listen. Your butt will begin to slide out of your chair, your body will hurt from the harness, and you will begin to feel whatever you had to eat rise rise rise.

In short…AVOID THE SPACE ROLLER! If not, GOOD LUCK! ;)
